A project of The Resource Center’s employment and training programs, the Veterans Community Technology Center provides occupational skills, remedial, life skills and job readiness training to eligible veterans.  The VCTC features a state-of-the-art computer lab and workshops, staffed by a professional team of instructors and volunteers.  Located at the Charles P. Golisano campus of the VOC, the facility was developed in support of The Resource Center's funded programs and job development initiatives, helping veterans become marketable and competitive in today's workforce.

More information, including a complete class schedule, may be found at www.xanga.com/vctc.

VCTC - A Pearson VUE Authorized Test Center

Undergoing training and becoming certificated means you have a comprehensive understanding of the most recent technology and can apply it to your current position.

The VCTC is now a Pearson VUE Authorized Test Center.

The Pearson VUE Testing System is the most powerful available.  We’re pleased to partner with a company whose breakthrough technology and passion for service will allow us to provide even greater service to our clients.

The exams that we are allowed to administer at this time are the CompTIA exams; the link below will provide a list of all the CompTia exams.

CompTIA serves the IT industry as the world's largest developer of vendor-neutral IT certification exams.  Since establishing the certification program in 1993, more than one million CompTIA certifications have been earned worldwide.  Currently, CompTIA offers certifications in PC hardware, networking, servers, e-Business, convergence, project management, training, Linux, security, digital home technology, document imaging and RFID.
