Veterans Food Pantry,
Clothing, and Essentials
Meeting basic needs is often the first step to providing meaningful support for veterans and their families. Through our Quartermaster services, Veterans Outreach Center, Inc. offers access to food, clothing, hygiene items, and other essentials at no cost right here at our location in Rochester, NY. Whether a veteran is facing an unexpected hardship or working toward greater stability, we are here to help with practical resources delivered with dignity and care.
“While I was [at Veterans Outreach Center], a fellow veteran who was homeless came in for help. During that time, I witnessed VOC staff doing everything they could to make this gentleman feel welcome. They offered him food, clothing, and a blanket. Most of all, they showed him great compassion.”
– Gary, VOC client
How Quartermaster Works
Step 1: Schedule an Appointment or Walk In
Veterans and their families can get started by calling 585-546-1081 to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome at Veterans Outreach Center, located at 447 South Ave. Rochester, NY.
Step 2: Meet with a Care Manager
If you’re a new client, you’ll first meet with one of our care managers for a brief interview. This helps us understand your specific needs and connect you with the right resources.
Step 3: Access the Quartermaster
After your meeting, the care manager will notify the Quartermaster team about your request.
- You’ll then be given access to walk through our Food Pantry to select items you need.
- Clothing and hygiene items will be issued based on availability and individual needs.
