    This Flag Day, Support Rochester's Veterans

    When Matt left the Navy, the challenges of returning to civilian life were difficult. “I was gone, deployed, detached a lot. I was homeless for about half a year… [VOC] is a beacon; this is a landmark place that you can come and find light when you’re in a dark spot. Find out that you’re not alone, and that there are resources available.”

    Behind every veteran is a story of sacrifice, courage, and commitment. Not just in moments of conflict, but also in quiet days of service far from home, missed birthdays, and the challenging journey back to civilian life.

    This Flag Day, we’re raising funds to support Veterans like Matt in our community. Veterans who stepped forward when called and now need our help.
