Who Will be the Six Strong Challenge Champion?
The Six Strong Challenge, presented by Community Bank, is a community-wide giving campaign with a spirited twist—an opportunity to celebrate service, strengthen connections, and perhaps settle, once and for all, which branch inspires the most pride.
Taking place during Military Appreciation Month, this friendly competition brings together supporters of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Space Force in a head-to-head fundraising effort from May 1–31. The goal is simple: to see which branch’s community can rally the most support for the life-changing programs at Veterans Outreach Center.
We're asking our community to choose a branch and invest at least $6 ($1 per branch). The branch with the highest fundraising total at the end of the day on May 31st wins the title of Six Strong Challenge Champions. All funds raised support free services for local veterans at VOC. You don’t need to have served to join in; you just need to choose the branch you’d like to support.
It represents the six pillars of our nation's defense: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Space Force.
Donation Gifts:
- $30 - $74: VOC cooler bag
- $75 - $124: VOC cooler bag and wireless charging pad
- $125+: VOC cooler bag, wireless charging pad, and water bottle
You'll also have the option to opt out of a gift if you prefer.
Plus a gift for one randomly selected donor each week for any amount donated.
(Note: If you're receiving a gift, please allow 4 - 6 weeks from the end of the campaign for shipping and delivery)

- 10% off the winning branch's merchandise at the Stars & Stripes Flag Store through the month of June
- a 10% promo code for the Stars & Stripes Flag Store emailed to all winning branch donors
- A digital Six Strong Challenge Champion certificate emailed to all winning branch donors
- The winning branch's flag will be hung at VOC with a small plaque
- Career transition and professional development services for veterans at all stages of their civilian employment journey
- Peer connection, suicide prevention & awareness, support groups, and health & wellness activities
- Emergency and transitional housing for male and female veterans and their children
