Veterans often need more than one type of support, which is why we partner with trusted organizations to expand the services available through Veterans Outreach Center, Inc. Located in Rochester, NY, and serving WNY and the Finger Lakes region, we work with community partners to connect veterans with benefits, discounts, financial guidance, and employment resources. These collaborations help ensure every veteran and family we serve has easy access to the tools and support they need, all in one place.

RochesterWorks
RochesterWorks! offers comprehensive employment services to veterans looking for meaningful career opportunities. From job search assistance and resume writing to interview preparation and skills training, RochesterWorks! helps veterans overcome employment barriers and connect with local employers. Their expertise ensures veterans are fully supported in their job search.
Veterans Upward Bound
Veterans Upward Bound is a federally funded program designed to help veterans prepare for postsecondary education. Whether pursuing college, vocational training, or GED completion, this program offers academic instruction, career counseling, and support navigating financial aid. Veterans Upward Bound empowers veterans with the tools they need to succeed in furthering their education and career goals.

New York State Department of Veterans’ Services
We partner with the New York State Department of Veterans’ Services to help veterans and their families access the benefits they’ve earned. A Veterans Benefits Advisor is available on-site to assist with applications for state and federal benefits, including compensation, pensions, healthcare, and more. This trusted resource ensures veterans have expert guidance through the often-complex benefits process.
Financial Guidance
Rochester Financial Empowerment Center
Through our partnership with the Rochester Financial Empowerment Center, veterans can receive free, one-on-one financial counseling. Certified counselors provide personalized support with budgeting, credit building, debt reduction, and savings plans. This partnership helps veterans strengthen their financial health and work toward long-term stability.
Legal Resources
JustCause and Veterans Committee of the Monroe County Bar Association
Veterans Outreach Center collaborates with JustCause and the Veterans Committee of the Monroe County Bar Association to offer legal support to veterans. Through the “Lawyer for a Day” program, volunteer attorneys provide free consultations on civil legal matters. This partnership helps veterans access professional legal advice and resources to address their legal challenges.
Veteran Discount Program
Monroe County Veterans Discount Card Program
We help veterans connect with the Monroe County Veterans Discount Card Program. This program offers veterans a photo ID card that unlocks discounts at participating businesses throughout the county. It’s a simple way for local businesses to give back to veterans while helping veterans save on everyday goods and services.
