If you have been laid off or displaced from your employment due to the current national health crisis, please note the following:

The New York State Labor Department has waived the 7-Day waiting period for Unemployment Insurance. Claims may be filed online or by phone immediately. Follow this link for more information: https://www.labor.ny.gov/home/

The Monroe County Office of Social Services has suspended face-to face-interviews for Public Assistance through April 11th. You are encouraged to make an appointment by phone. For more information: https://www2.monroecounty.gov/hs-coronavirus

The United States Social Security Administration has closed all offices. Business can be conducted online at https://www.ssa.gov/coronavirus/

Veterans Outreach Center continues to monitor the changes in access to services. While our offices are temporarily closed, critical staff are working offsite. Contact us at 585.546.1081 for more information.
