Three Veterans Graduate From Auto/Welding Boot Camp

At the beginning of March, three veterans graduated from Veterans Outreach Center’s Auto/Welding Boot Camp, in partnership with the Office of Adult & Career Education Services (OACES).

This two-week course teaches participants the skills needed to enter the workforce as a welder. Students received multiple certifications and were given options for employment and/or continuing education.

All students earned their Lincoln Welding Safety Certification, Welding VR Certification, OACES Basic Plasma Cutter Certification, OACES Certificate of Completion (with competencies on back) and set them up for careers as welders!
