Golf is a game of patience, sometimes frustration, and the occasional perfect shot. It’s also a great reason to get out of the office and spend the day with friend.
At Veterans Outreach Center’s 33rd annual Golf Fore Vets tournament, you’ll experience all of that while changing the lives of local veterans.
When a service member transitions back to civilian life, the path forward isn’t always a straight line. It can be complicated, isolating, and filled with unexpected hazards. At VOC, we’re helping make sure no veteran has to navigate that transition alone.
The Experience
Expect a scramble-style tournament packed with friendly competition, great food, and cold drinks. Throughout the 18 holes, you’ll find long-drive contests, closest-to-the-pin challenges, raffle prizes, and plenty of other fun and games.
We wrap up the day with dinner, an awards reception, and the chance to hear directly from VOC Executive Director & U.S. Army veteran Laura Heltz.
We’ll have two tee times available again this year: 7:15 a.m. & 12:00 p.m.

The course is calling. The mission is clear. Grab your clubs, rally your team, and spend a day on the green ensuring that the men and women who fought for our future have the tools they need to build their own.
