Forever Roses Supports Veterans Outreach Center with a $14,275 Donation
Marc Gaiger, owner of Marc’s Studio in Fairport, New York, has been a longtime supporter of Veterans Outreach Center (VOC) and our local veterans. In 2018, Marc began making copper roses, selling them around Valentine’s Day, and donating the proceeds to VOC. In 2020, Marc got a crew of about 10 volunteers together to produce 500 Forever Roses to sell them at six local retails locations, including Veterans Outreach Center’s Stars & Stripes Flag Store.
“A special thank you goes out to the retailers that helped sell the copper roses without taking a commission,” Mark said. “This allowed us to donate even more money to the VOC.”
As a result of Marc’s generosity, his crew and retailers have donated $14,275 to Veterans Outreach Center. “I just want people to remember and support our local veterans. Everyone needs to do their part in supporting these heroes and their families”
Because of Marc’s efforts, his donation will allow VOC to continue to provide free housing, legal and employment services, suicide awareness and prevention, wellness services in our new Moral Center, and more to thousands of local veterans annually.
